Does a 72 MHz transmitter use AM radio, conversely, does a 2.4 MHz transmitter use FM? - basic fm transmitter
I am interested in RC airplanes. I heard from two types of issuers:) 72 MHz and 2.4 GHz (spread spectrum. 72 MHz AM or FM. Any additional information would be welcome, I am somewhat new to this area.

I'm expanding my knowledge, this is wrong in both cases. Modulation is used to send the tones, song and voice, and I think RC digital coding is used (on / off) and timing. This page http://www.easyrc.com/radiosystems/index partially confirmed my belief ...
Beyond the old AM and FM, and pulse code modulation (PCM) is discussed at 2.4 GHz spread spectrum signal. Unfortunately, not explicitly say how the devices various channels, and that is what you want.
